It’s win to get in for the Dryden Eagle Girls Hockey team at the OFSAA Championship in St. Thomas.
The Eagles finished opening day play with a 1-1 record. Dryden won the first game 3-1 over Osgood Township of Ottawa. Meghan Pinette led the way with a pair of goals, while Brett Lobreau added a single.
The Eagles then dropped a 1-0 decision to John McGregor of Chatham in the second game. Melissa Calder played brilliant making 22 saves.
Dryden will close round-robin play Wednesday morning against 1-0-1 South Heron. A win and the Eagles will advance to Quarter-Final play.
