The Dryden Eagles girls’ hockey team is OFSAA-bound once again! The Eagles defeated the Kenora Broncos 2-1 Sunday evening to take the best of three series in two games straight.
Kristen Bartlett opened the scoring at 8:37 of the 1st period for the Eagles. Morgan Church added a second goal at 15:26 of the 2nd period, which proved the game winner.
The boys didn’t fare so well at home, losing their series in two games to the Fort Frances Muskies 3-0 Sunday night, and having to settle for a NORWOSSA silver medal.
