Another honour for the Dryden Eagle Athletic program.
The Girls Hockey team has won the OFSAA Team Sportsmanship Award.
The award is handed to the team which demonstrates the attributes of sportsmanship and fair play.
Coach Brad Bartlett says the award speaks volumes to the efforts of the parents and minor hockey coaches who have invested their time and energy into girls hockey.
Bartlett also notes the honour recognizes the efforts of the entire community.
The Eagles advanced to the Quarter-Final of the OFSAA Tournament in Wingham.
