The first ‘AA’ playoff game for the Red Lake Rams wasn’t a winning
one, but the Rams gave the Dryden Eagles fits Thursday night in Dryden.
The Eagles skated to a 5-0 win despite facing a stiffling
defence and a hot goaltender.
Red Lake’s Michelle Coulson says there’s room for improvement.
Brett Lobreau led the way for the Eagles with a pair of goals and
says she was happy with their performance.
Jen Steiner, Darci Everett and Caitlin Egli added singles, while
Melissa Calder had a quiet night to pick up the shut-out.
Game 2 of the Best of 3 series is Sunday in Red Lake.
