Eagle Lake Stars Shine in Opening Game

It was a great start for Eagle Lake Hockey stars Tim Kavanaugh and Nathan Bruyere.
Kavanaugh scored once and added 4-assists leading Northern Ontario to a 9-3 win over Nunavet Monday at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship in Ottawa.
Nathan Bruyere registered an assist and was named game MVP.
The Northern team is back on the ice at 5:30 central against Ontario South.
