A member of the OPP in the Northwest Region has been arrested and charged with 2-counts of assault.
The move follows a complaint regarding 2-domestic incidents in the area.
The officer, who was off-duty at the time of the incidents, has served 7-years with the OPP.
There is no word on where the incidents occurred, but OPP say the man in question is scheduled to appear in Fort Frances Court on June 7th.
The name and detachment of the police officer is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
