The Dryden Eagles continue to find new ways to win at the All-Ontario Girls Championships in Orillia. After a thrilling 2-1 OT win in earlier in the morning the Eagles won 3-2 in a shootout to advance to the semi-finals. Sarah Montgomery was one hero in the shoot-out scoring both times she was called upon. Melissa Calder was the other as she out waited the Lokerby Vikings shooters allowing just one goal in 4 attempts. Calder ended the game with a 38 save performace. Felicia Fletcher notched the other goal for the Eagles. Dryden will play 2 games tomorrow starting with a semi final date with the upstart Huron Park Huskies from Woodstock, who upset tournament favourite Jean Vanier in quarter final play. The teams will battle it out at the Brian Orser Arena at 7:00 a.m. Central time and CKDR will have the call beginning at 6:45 with the pregame show.
