Eagles Await Opponents in N-wossa Soccer Finals

The Dryden Eagles Boys and Girls soccer teams will be keeping an ear to the ground as they wait for a winner in the Thunder Bay high school soccer leagues. The Dryden Boys scored two straight wins at the Norwossa finals Wednesday and will play the loser between St. Ignatius and Hamarskjold. The winner automaitcally advances to Ofsaa which will be in Thunder Bay. The best of three finals are set for Friday and Saturday. On the girls side the Eagles needed a shootout to win the Norwossa title after the three teams competing had Identical records after round robin play. Dryden will meet the loser of St. Ignatius and St. Patrick’s in Thunder Bay. Once again the winner automatically advances to the Ofsaa tournamnet in Thunder Bay in June. The Girls finals will also be hosted in Thunder Bay Friday and Saturday.
