The Dryden Eagles Boys High School Hockey team battled adversity and kept their playoff hopes alive in a 4-2 stunning win over the Fort Frances Muskies Thursday in Eagle Lake.
The undermaned Eagles shut down the Muskies and Jessie Pettinger made several clutch saves as the Eagles denied the Muskies a perfect season.
The same two teams meet again next week as the Eagles make their run at a playoff spot.
