It was another mixed bag for the Dryden Eagle Girls and Boys Hockey teams
Thursday night as they played the Fort Frances Muskies for the second time in
3 nights.
In Girls play the Eagles avenged a 2-1 loss in Fort by scoring
their own 2-1 win at home.
Megan Pinette and Kim Rothlisberger scored while Ashley Schiebler notched the win in net.
The Boys fell 5-4 despite a late game comeback bid.
The Eagles scored 2 in the final 10 minutes of the game but had a goal disallowed in the closing minutes.
Shawn Capovilla had a pair of goals.
Rowan Breutsch and Austin Helie each chipped in with one.
Curtis Lambkin suffered the loss between the pipes.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Eagle Boys and Girls as they will face the
Kenora Broncos Friday to wrap up the regular season.
