The Dryden Eagles girls let a pair of 5 goal leads slip away but skated away with a 7-6 overtime victory in Keewatin Friday night in High school hockey play. Kylie Engstrom scored the overtime winner on the power play just 11 seconds into the extra frame. Jen Steiner, Sarah Carter, Amy Hale, Erin Capovilla, Jonna Dale and Randi-Lynn Sullivan all scored for Dryden Carolyn White made 20 saves for the win in net. The Eagles will have one more game before Christmas break as they play host to the Fort frances Muskies Tuesday night.
