The Dryden Ice Dogs now own a 4 point lead atop the SIJHL standings after a 5-2 win over the Marathon Renegades Friday night in Marathon. Nicolas Doiron, Chris Kitt, Marlon Gardner, Shawn Degagne and Clinton Senkow all scored for Dryden. The Ice Dogs got an early Christmas present from the Schreiber Diesels who upset the Fort William North Stars 4-3 in overtime in Thunder Bay to give the Ice Dogs the 4 point cushion. Dryden and Marathon will wrap up their two game set Saturday night in Marathon.
