It was a tight one but the Dryden Ice Dogs remained undefeated in the Eastern most point of the SIJHL with a 3-2 win over the Marathon Renegades Saturday night. Chad Liley scored the winner 12 and a half minutes into the third. Newcomer Levi Cifra and Rowan Bruetsch also scored for Dryden while Sonny Albert made 26 saves for the win between the pipes. The Ice Dogs retained their 4 point lead atop the SIJHL standings with one game left before the Christmas break. The Fort William North Stars rebounded with a 5-4 win on home ice over the Schreiber Diesels.
