Dryden Minor Softball has stepped up to the plate for the ‘Light our
Ball Diamonds’ project.
The Club is moving ahead with its incorporation in order to apply for
grants to light the Sandy Beach Ball diamonds.
A bank account has been set up at the Royal Bank and donations are
now being accepted.
Officials say they hope to complete the project between September,
2008 and April 2009 and the cost is pegged at $400,000.
Minor Softball is also working with the City to bring the food booth at
Sandy Beach back to Northwestern health Unit standards.
