Eagles End Regular Season on High Note

A great end to the regular season for the Dryden Eagle Court teams.
The Eagles took three out of four against Kenora on home court Thursday.
Wilma Oombash was the story for the Senior Girls Basketball team as she scored 16 and was stellar on defense to give the Eagles a 40-28 win.
Her performance gave the Eagles first place and a bye into the NORWOSSA Final.
Morgan Church added 14.
The Junior Girls were unable to find the basket and dropped a 29-20 decision against Beaver Brae.
Amy Doudiet, Amy Knipping and Elisa Mawby each scored 4-points.
In Volleyball, the Senior Boys took four games to send the Broncos packing, 25-16, 30-32, 25-16 and 25-17.
The Junior Boys wobbled in the first set but fought back to win in four, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14, 25-18.
The NORWOSSA Playoffs is next Thursday at Dryden High School.
