The Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team finished fourth at a two day Tournament in Portage, Manitoba.
The Eagles dropped a 3-1 decision to the host team Saturday in the bronze medal game.
Leah Balla scored the lone goal.
They earned the medal game with a 3-1 win over Miles Mac earlier in the day.
The coaching staff says the girls played their best game of the weekend against Portage but didn’t get the bounces.
The Eagles dictated the pace of the game and ran into a hot goalie and bad breaks.
The suddenly hot St. Thomas Aquinas Saints from Kenora won gold.
