The season has come to an end for the Dryden Eagles Football team.
The Eagles battled in the Winnipeg High School Football Consolation Semi-Final in windy conditions Wednesday in a 31-1 loss to the Grant Park Pirates.
This was the first year for Dryden in the highest division in all of Manitoba Football, after a string of consecutive successful and championship seasons.
The Eagles were recognized week-after-week by league officials and opposition teams for their sportsmanship and dedication to the game.
