The Dryden Eagles can clinch a playoff spot in the Winnipeg High School Football League this afternoon.
The 2-2 Eagles battle the 1-3 St. John’s Tigers at Harry McMaster Field.
Defensive Coach Neil McLeod says they hope to build some momentum from last weeks win against Maples.
The game features two of the best offensive players in the league.
Tigers running-back Rylee Nepinak is second in rushing with 606-yards, an average of 9.6-yards per rush and 4-touchdowns.
Dryden counters with Quarterback Braydon Hansson who has 601-yards rushing, 7.8-yards per rush and 9-majors.
He’s also first in the league with 65 points scored.
Kick-off is 4 o’clock.
