Eagles Impress at NWOSSA Despite Loss

The Churchill Trojans are off to the All-Ontario Senior Girls Basketball Championship in St. Thomas.
The Dryden Eagles battled the Trojans to the bitter end but dropped a 36-26 overtime decision in Game 2 of the Best-of-3 NWOSSA Final Saturday
The game was tied at 26-26 after 4 quarters with the Thunder Bay champions pulling away in the 4 minute overtime.
The Eagles lost Game 1 by a single point and Dryden will walk away with perhaps their finest performance ever in a NWOSSA Final.
