Some work to do for the Dryden Eagles High School Football team.
The Eagles lost their only pre-season game Thursday, falling to the Beaver Brae Broncos 15-8 on home field.
Liam Wrolstad scored Dryden’s only touchdown with a 5-yard run, while Jacob Wesly completed the two point conversion.
Kyle Johnston led the Eagles in rushing, including the long play of the day for over 85-yards.
Dryden ran into penalty troubles throughout the game.
However, the coaching staff says the team progressed throughout the game and everyone gained valuable playing time.
Head Coach Geoff Zilklans pointed to stand-out defensive performances from Gus Brosseau, Joel Ottertail and Zack Lugli.
