A short week after an emotional win over the Fort Frances Muskies Friday night didn’t help the Dryden Eagles High School Football team.
The Eagles had to travel to Winnipeg yesterday afternoon to play the West Kildonan Wolverines and the ‘Blue and Gold’ fell 31-13.
Dryden was hindered by a slow start and penalty troubles but managed to make it a game after the first quarter.
The Eagles now have 10-days to rest and prepare for the final 4-games.
Three of those games will be played at Harry McMaster Field.
