A third down gamble helped the Dryden Eagles earn a point in Winnipeg High School Football.
Facing a third and 4, Adam Saunders ran for a touchdown with just over two minutes left to give Dryden a 20-20 tie with Tec Voc Friday in Winnipeg.
Ryan Martel scored on a 65-yard touchdown run and Braydon Hansson hit pay dirt from 12-yards out for the Eagles other majors.
Dryden now sits with a 2-3-1 record and control their playoff fate.
The Eagles have a bye this week and host St. John’s on October 19th in the Homecoming game.
A win secures a playoff spot for Dryden.
