Eagles Win In O/T – and move on!

The Dryden Eagles’ Girls Hockey Team is alive and kicking at the OFSAA Championships in Orillia.

The Eagles scored with 3:06 left in overtime to win their first play-off game 2-1 this morning, sending North Bay’s Algonquin home. Stefanie Robinson scored the overtime goal. Darcy Everett who assisted on the OT winner also scored in the second to give Dryden a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles advance to the quarter-finals to face Lockerby Catholic Secondary from Sudbury at 10:45 (Dryden Time) this morning.
