The Township of Ear Falls is getting a boost from the provincial government to improve emergency services and upgrade streets.
Northern Development Minister Jim Wilson has announced almost 126-thousand dollars to help purchase a rescue van and wildfire equipment.
Wilson also says more than 74-thousand dollars will go toward upgrading township streets in a nearly 100-thousand dollar resurfacing project.
The money will flow from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
