Hospital In A Helicopter

Emergency personnel had an up close and personal look at the regional advanced care air ambulance helicopter over the weekend.
The chopper was on display at the Dryden Best Western helipad as the Dryden Fire Service hosted an annual training school for the regional firefighters.
Leon Seguin, an advanced care paramedic with the helicopter, says the chopper is basically a flying emergency room serving the Northwest.
He adds because of the distances between hospitals in the region, the unit is a much-needed resource.
The Kenora-based chopper has been in service for about three years.
