A Dryden High School Student is one step closer to accomplishing her goal to ban the use of plastic bags.
In honour of Earth Day, 27 Retail businesses in Dryden have pledged to not hand out single use plastic bags.
Event Organizer Michelle Arsenault says people don’t realize how bad the bags are for the environment.
