Dryden City Council has passed the 2008 tax rates.
The overall tax rate increase for the municipality is 2 percent, which will allow the city to maintain current service levels.
The 2008 budget was passed in January, but tax ratios and rates were not set at that time due to unknown final figures from the Provincial Government and local boards.
Treasurer Linda McNaughton says residential taxes will come in at 2.33 percent.
Industrial and large industrial rates for the City sit at 1.16%.
