Educational assistants are on the road to labour peace with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
The board and the members represented by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation have reached a tentative deal.
Union District President Cindy Hayward says both sides are expected to approve the deal by December 18th.
Hayward calls the contract a big relief, stating staff will start next school year with a full agreement.
It’s the fourth deal reached by the public school board in the past two weeks.
