Economic Development Manager Issue Expected To Be Debated

The Dryden Development Corporation is asking the City to recruit and hire an Economic Development Manager.
The request was made in a letter to the outgoing Council last month.
Mayor Craig Nuttall suggests an EDM would provide needed support to the community.
He suggests Mayor and Council can’t bring new business to Dryden alone and adds they need someone to help in efforts.
Nuttall wouldn’t give a definite answer on the issue but stresses it should become a number one priority for the newly elected Council.
