Economic Development Officer

Plans are underway to facilitate an Economic Development Officer in Ignace and Sioux Lookout.
The municipalities have joined forces with Patricia Area Community Endeavours on the plan.
Sioux Lookout Chief Administrative Officer John Baird says the original plan was to have one E-D-O cover both municipalities but they now plan to hire one for each community.
Baird adds PACE is applying for federal funding but it may cost each municipality an extra 30-40 thousand dollars.
