Education Minister Visiting Sioux Lookout

The Minister of Education is visiting Sioux Lookout Tuesday.
Liz Sandals will take part in the grand opening of the Cultural Room at Sioux Mountain School as well as visit Queen Elizabeth High School.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 11 o’clock.
The Cultural Room was completed in April 2014 and was built to foster relationships with area First Nations.
Sean Monteith is the Director of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
Monteith says Sandals will get a first-hand look at what they have known for a long time.
He notes their staff and schools are first-class and the Board has taken major strides to improve the lives of students.
