Education support workers in the Keewatin-Patricia School District have voted 87 percent in favour of ratifying a tentative contract agreement reached last week.
Union president Pam Constable released the figure this morning after workers voted on the deal last night.
Constable says she will not make any official comment until the school board votes.
Trustees will vote on the deal tonight at their regular monthly meeting.
Meatime, most education support workers returned to work yesterday after a three month long strike.
Some secretaries are returning today, preferring to wait until union members voted on the agreement.
