Bullying and discrimination experienced by those who are gay, lesbian or bisexual will be the topic of discussion in Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Kenora the week of November 21st.
The Northwestern Health Unit is bringing in educators from the Rainbow Resource Centre in Winnipeg to speak with High School students about the issue.
Manager of Sexual Health Gillian Lunny says results of a recent national survey are disturbing. Lunny says almost all of the students surveyed indicated homophobic comments or harassment against them.
