Edward Joseph Baron

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and friend Edouard Joseph Arthur Baron.

He was predeceased by his parents Adele and Hector Baron, siblings Juliette, Omer, Leo and granddaughter LeeAnn. Edouard leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Cecile, and their children Lina (Ron), Len (Eva), Jackie (John) and Danny. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren Caroline, Bonnie, Spencer, Grant, Emma, Ranger and Gracie; and great-grandchildren Josh and Paige. He is fondly remembered by his sisters Lorraine, Evelyn, Jeanette, and brother’s Alphonse and Frankie.

Edouard was born in Mariapolis MB on June 1, 1921. His life work consisted of farming logging and carpentry. He greatly enjoyed gardening, hunting, dancing and spending time with family and friends. He was a wise and loving man who will be missed by all.

Memorial Mass was held Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Vermilion Bay celebrated by Rev. Alan Campeau. Interment of ashes followed in the Vermilion Bay North Cemetery.
