ELA Continues To Gain Support Even After Deadline

The funding may have stopped but support continues to grow for the Experimental Lakes Area, west of Vermilion Bay.
The Lake of the Woods District Property Owners Association and Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Association have begun letter writing campaigns looking for answers.
Spokesperson Susan McLeod says their main concern is how secretive the government is being, now that the deadline for closure has passed.
McLeod says fresh water is important to everyone involved.
