No regrets from any of the candidates in Kenora Rainy River after yesterday’s resounding victory by Dalton McGuinty & his Liberal team.
Howard Hampton retained his seat & told supporters in Fort Frances last nite the NDP will continue to fight for the little guy.
Liberal Geoff Mclain will now turn his attention to the remaining weeks of his term as Mayor of Ear Falls & says the results are not really a surprise.
Cathe Hozowski had been criss crossing the riding for the past year & despite finishing a distant 3rd more than 11,000 votes behind Hampton, says she has no regrets.
With 193 out of 195 polls reporting, Howard Hampton has 14,441 or 60.1%, Geoff Mclain 6,274 for 26.1% Hozowski 3,027 or just 12.6% of ballots cast.
Green Party candidate Dan King who never ventured out of Toronto managed 281 votes.
