The President of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario says
instructors are ready to take work-to-rule action as early as March break.
Emily Noble says teachers across the Province are voting in favour of
strike action and notes local residents just have to look at there own
backyard to see that change is needed.
Last week, local instructors voted 95% in favour of strike
action.
Currently, local instructors have 150-minutes of prep time a week and
the union is pushing for a minimum of 200-minutes.
Negotiations between Elementary Teachers and the Keewatin-Patricia
District School Board will resume on Thursday.
