A conference designed to increase the use of wood in non-
residential building projects is coming to Thunder Bay.
Marianne Berube is the spokesperson for the federally
appointed N-W Wood design conference and says the meeting
encourages using wood products in municipal offices, and
northern Ontario bridges.

The conference stats Wednesday morning at 9:30 at the
Valhalla Inn.
Berube adds using wood at home in Canada would
counteract some of the negative issues surrounding the
industry, such as the Softwood lumber dispute.
