Many local businesses are starting to hire students for the summer, and the Northwest Business Centre has a new tool that might help.
An employee handbook has been developed and is now available.
Allyson Pele says it’s something small companies might find useful when dealing with their new employees.
Pele says a generic copy of the employee handbook can be downloaded from their website, and notes it can be tailored for an individual company.
She notes they partnered with the Northwest Training and Adjustment Board and other groups to develop the tool.
