Enbridge Gas has received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to jack up its rates effective January 1st.
Typical residential customers will see their bill increase by just over 6%, or $54.00 a year.
As a result, your total bill will be about $925 a year.
The company is blaming the increase primarily on higher natural gas prices in North America.
