Encouraging Results for OPP

Dryden OPP have wrapped up a survey that got underway almost 3 months ago.
370 people in the Detachment area gave their input on policing issues and rating service delivery.
Constable Diane Harder says overall most are happy with the policing service they receive.
Harder says a majority of folks contacted felt safe and comfortable within their community and were happy with the police presence.
However, First Nations were less satisfied with the OPP.
Harder says officers plane to increase their presence on First Nations.
For example, the D.A.R.E program will be implemented at Wabigoon and Eagle Lake schools.
Similar surveys were conducted in Red Lake and Sioux Lookout.
