End of an Era for CBLS Community Radio

CBLS Community Radio in Sioux Lookout has turned off the switch after 36-years of broadcasting.
Co-President Florence Woolner says the move was made due to changes in CBC scheduling.
Development began on the community radio station for Sioux Lookout in 1973, with the first broadcast taking place July 14th, 1975 at the Friendship Centre.
Service was extended to Hudson shortly after.
The final show was last Thursday.
