The Ministry of Natural Resources continues to make excellent progress on raging forest fires in Northwestern Ontario.
33-fires were declared out over the weekend.
175-personnel from 5 Provinces and Minnesota remain in the region.
There were 11-new forest fires reported Sunday.
A total of 57-fires continue to burn.
Despite the ongoing success of controlling several large fires, crews continue to work on four large forest fires.
Red Lake Fire 84 is nearly 43,000 in size and is not under control about 50-kilometres northeast of Ear Falls.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says its estimated that 80% of the blaze is contained.
Red Lake Fire 124 is being held at roughly 21,000 hectares in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.
Sioux Lookout 64 is 65% contained just 20-kilometres southwest of Cat Lake First Nation.
The fire is at 21,000 hectares.
Sioux Lookout 61 is at 4,600 and is 50% contained.
