End To Tariffs on Baby Clothes And Sports Items

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says one of the highlights of the federal budget is an end to tariffs on a number of things that impact families.
Rickford says the decision was made after extensive consultation with area residents and Chambers of Commerce.
The 76-million-dollar tariff relief program is specifically for baby clothing and sports gear, including skates, hockey sticks, skis and golf clubs.
Rickford says the move will close the gap between the prices between Canada and the United States.
