Questions have been raised about the future of the Energy East pipeline with the change of government in Ottawa.
Joel Richardson is a spokesperson for Manufacturers & Exporters and says it’s encouraging to see recently elected MP’s expressing a desire to see the project seriously considered.
Richardson says Justin Trudeau has called for an immediate review of the environmental assessment process.

The newly elected Prime Minister hasn’t publicly supported the project, but has said the process needed some tweaking.
