The English River Miners will make a second attempt Tuesday to find the win column in a very young SIJHL season.
The Miners are in Fort Frances to face the Lakers.
The defending champion Lakers are also looking for their first victory, as they were stunned by Thief River Falls on opening day.
Both teams struggled to score meaningful goals in their first action.
