After years of declining enrollment, the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board may finally be seeing a turn-around.
The Board is seeing an increase in its student numbers this Fall.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says that’s in part due to the introduction of all-day kindergarten programs at more schools.
McMaster says they have 261 students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten program, which is 21 more than they had projected at the start of the year.
The Board has just over 5,300 students this Fall.
