Enrolment Down in Region

Enrolment in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has dropped by almost 130 students since last year.
Figures released by the board show there are just over 6,770 students this year.
The board is hoping the province acts on a call for more adequate funding, despite the decline in the student population.
Queen Elizabeth High School in Sioux Lookout had the biggest increase in enrolment with 22.7 more students than last year.
The biggest drop was also felt in Sioux Lookout with a decrease of 27 students at Sioux Mountain school.
Dryden High dropped 21.8.
