Ensure Ice Conditions are Safe

Area Police forces are warning residents to be cautious of the ice during this time of the year.
Kids and snowmobilers often have visions of venturing out on to the lake.
Ice conditions should be a minimum 10-centimetres thick before you walk on and 12-centimetres for snow machines.
Police say you need to be absolutely sure of the conditions before stepping on the ice.
