Green Initiatives in Kenora District

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is embarking on two “Green” school projects.
The Provincial Government has awarded the Public Board funding for 2-initiatives; one in Ear Falls and the other in Kenora.
A Solar Wall Thermal system will be installed at Ear Falls School under the initiative.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says they’re lucky to be involved in the project.
40-school boards will be sharing $22.5-million in Provincial Funding for the “green projects”.
